My Story
I decided to create HoneyBee for a couple of reasons. The first one being that I wanted to spread the awareness of the Black Lives Matter movement, especially when there was the murder of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. If making and selling BLM clothing was a way to spread awareness and be a part of the change, than that is what I want to do. And that brings me to my last point which is the making portion! Being thrown into making T-shirts at basketball tournaments with my artistic sister, she figured out techniques to use and then taught me. I also learned from trial and error and through experimenting with different designs. I eventually got to make T-shirts for people in high school. That being said, I consider this to be a skill of mine and decided to put it to use!
